"whether saying that a company can no longer pay its bills, and specifically something as fundamental as rent, does not bring into question its ability to pay other essential bills and so to survive, and is therefore libelous, as tending to bring it into disrepute--financially."
First of all the FILINGS say that they don't have the necessary cash. TORVEC's own filings. The INDEPENDENT AUDITORS issued a "going concern statement" which means they have a concern with the company being able to fund it's current operations. No one made that up, it came from the auditors. Also somewhere in the filings I also believe that you will find that the company was paying it's rent with STOCK, NOT CASH. Which by the way dilutes the common shareholders. Not seeing any libel in there. If I'm wrong let me know and I'll be the first person to acknowlege that I am but I believe those are the facts.
"I do not seek your opinion unless you are a lawyer."
Please read my prior post. I didn't offer to or give you my opinion. I simply asked you what you were refering to. I thought I must have missed something that was libelous. I can't seem to find the "Blantant lies" either.
