"Most likely they called or tried to contact this fake law firm, and found it was a fake and threw away the letter.."

I wouldn't throw it out. It's great evidence for the FBI/SEC to investigate after being contacted by Spongetech {in response to the alert of the letter from the transfer agent}...

Does Spongetech management know of the(se) letter(s)?

What did they say?

Let's discuss the issues Z4.
1) the law firm representing the old TA doesn't know where it came from...
No Z4, the correct answer is, what law firm, it doesn't exist unless you found it.
------------------
2)the opinion letter would have been thrown out most likely, the only reason action in any regard was taken because someone called up the TA and asked them about the said letters.. (kinda odd don't you think) that someone would know about a letter that hasn't been acted upon.
You lost me here. If the opinion letter was thrown out, who did it. I have to keep my tax records for 6 years, or did you mean something else, please explain.
------------------
3)Further, they were never signed... and the law firm that they came from is a fake one.. which leads me to believe that someone was trying to pull a fast one...
Who says it wasn't signed? I can't see the bottom of the page, can you? Is there a 2nd page?
------------------
4)As Old Tymer stated when he called the TA they would not even look twice at such a letter... Most likely they called or tried to contact this fake law firm, and found it was a fake and threw away the letter..
Well, if OldTymer comes up with the phone numbers he called, I will be sure to verify his info, if he posts it.
