SPIN/No Miracle Required

I don't agree that it will "take a miracle to save WAVX." However, I do agree that more announcements of the type we have already seen will have diminishing returns.

What is needed is significant and visible deployment of a complete trusted network including Wave technology by a prominent enterprise or governmental user. While I expect we will see significant revenue growth resulting from deployment of the basic Wave software, I think these revenues will still be relatively trivial compared to the ongoing burn rate. The type of revenues that would lead to profitability will come from sales of the premium per seat subscription stuff.

Maybe you think that it would require a miracle for Wave to start selling the premium stuff any time soon. Given the delays we have seen in the deployment of Trusted Computing in general, the basis for such an opinion is evident. However, I think that it is too pessimistic given the current absence of real competition and the demonstrable value added associated with the products.

Spin --

I assume you've been emailing NASD everyday in case they weren't watching Wave's price closely and also peeing in your pants with anticipation of a delisting notice.

But you simply seem to exclude the possibility that during the remainder of the year, the deployment of trusted computing will become much more visible and the results of Wave's last 12 to 18 months of efforts will result in tangible progress and deals. They have said Q4 was the quarter where things would be changing - they said that many quarters ago.

STM was a real first sign. if that is all that happens, then they won't be above a buck without a RS. If the tide changes, then $1 will not be an issue. Simple as that.
