I think some of the people who panicked and dumped this week will either get back in, or eventually regret their decision.
I think we need to be very cautious of "group think" putting us into panic mode. There are a lot of unanswered questions, and until we get official answers, we shouldn't sweat over speculated answers.
It is certainly nice to hear reassuring words from our CEO, and I love how the tone of the board has changed. Let's not lose sight of the fact that DM has put his reputation on the line with this. He's made bold statements and brought in bigwigs who I'm sure he doesn't want to disappoint. I know people have written about some "lack of success" on his part in the past, but it seems to me like that's all the more reason for him to make it work. From the brief reading I've done on the history of this company, it sounds like walking away would have been a lot easier. There's something here he really believes in. If he's got the kind of connections you guys say he does, I'm sure finding another job wouldn't have been as difficult as holding this boat together.
That's just my very humble opinion.
