How does anyone say for sure that a transaction is a buy or a sell, it is impossible, unless it was your own trade!

Matt,

What does the black color mean on the trades chart for BANI?

No way that is what it means.

I have seen two companies lately where large volume spikes in red but the price jumps up.

So red I was beginning to think was representing the market makers or company. (green I've not known... always thought buy but maybe you're on to something...)

Maybe Red is at ask, blue is at bid, and green is in between bid/ask.

When I hover over the stock chart, it gives the price for the stock. However, when I hover over a colored volume bar, it does not display the number of shares bought/sold/unknown. This information has to be stored somewhere, as it has to pull it in order to make the bars. It would be awesome if just a mouse hover would pull it up, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Is there any way to obtain the numerical bought/sold/unknown information from the charts for past days, as the 'Trades' page only has same day info available?
