When Janice first started this board, and people started whining about the TOU here, I suggested the subject was off topic.

But since she wants to allow it, I'll try to answer your post.

Since yours is so long though, I'm going to break my reply down into several posts.

Please don't send me any more book length posts.

For instance the spam rule used to read that one could not post the same or similar message more than two times in a 24 hour period. When a regular spammer was reported by me with 2 dozen violations of the spam TOU, the spam rule was reworded to "more than 2 times in a calendar day".

Explain to me the difference in a "calender day" and a "24 hour period".

Isn't there 24 hours in a calender day?

Whenever I looked at posts to determine spamming, I looked at midnight to midnight.

Isn't that the same as a 24 hour calender day?

I know that admin will sometimes allow a poster to post the same post three times, but unless they go overboard, they'll let them slide.

Would you rather admin throw them in jail on the first offense?

Now, this relates to the case against Matt because it shows, in a sense, that some preferential treatment is extended to certain posters under certain circumstances. One can find their post limited while spammers, when reported get the rules changed so that their clear violations are now within the rules.

When Matt started Ihub, he started it as a "basher free zone".

That didn't change until Bob came here and convinced Matt it was in the best interest of the website to allow all opinions, as long as they didn't violate the TOU.

Matt still favors the pumper clowns, and that's no secret, but as long as the "bashers" like yourself, don't become obnoxious by posting excessively, you can get by with it without unless you violate the TOU.

IMO, you are probably one of the most obnoxious bashers on Ihub.
