Who is the Patrice Kawas anyway? The old website (which you can find if you search for it) ...reports:

PATRICE KAWAS - Director of Media Purchasing

Ms. Kawas has spent over twenty-five years in the direct response industry. She has witnessed the constant change of direct marketing and has worked with clients varying from traditional direct response products (Ginsu Knives) to Insurance Companies. Currently, her major focus is the formation of the media buying entity for The Dynamic Response Group.

Ms. Kawas began her career as an Assistant Media Buyer in 1976 and decided to pursue a career in Media Buying. She has literally purchased time for every type of direct response product on both a national and local level. In addition to her superb buying expertise, Ms. Kawas has worked closely with many major pharmaceutical companies when the FDA relaxed the guidelines for DTC advertising in 1997. She has been involved with over 25 products in the healthcare industry. Ms. Kawas was instrumental in aligning telemarketing companies with the expectations of the FDA.

Her previous background included management positions at PHD USA, SCP Direct, Grey Direct Marketing, and Rapp & Collins.

Ms. Kawas is an active member in the Electronic Media Marketing Association (EMMA), a club for members of the direct marketing business as well as, The Direct Marketing Association.


I don't think it is accidental that she has a tie in to the new subsidiary Medico Express...and the marketing guidelines of the FDA.
