Sarmad, > The company is run for the benefit of its managers and employess. Not share holders.

This has been true about most publicly traded companies for decades now. I would hope that among other things, this recession will teach more people the truth, that common stock holders are at the bottom of the investment totem pole.

Something to keep in mind the next time we feel entitled to a quick and easy speculative gain. Or think that even holding long-term doesn't come with substantial risk.

Sarmad, what do you think about roubini's and nenner's call for a sharp market correction? Is there any substance or is it just manipulation?

"The company is run for the benefit of its managers and employess."

Pretty strong statement.

Looks like huge selling today at $16.50. Ironic that Intel was the first one to call the bottom, yet the stock does very little since. Meanwhile, Microsoft & even Cisco have jumped higher. Market doesnt like Intel's growth prospects.

The company is run for the benefit of its managers and employess. Not share holders.

Managers yes..........employees no. Except for a small minority..... I think employees get taken advantage of. Most tolerate things.....forever hoping the dangled carrot (options) will he caught. It rarely is. What was the strike price of the employee options "dangled" this year? Anyone?
