I sold all my shares at the time, and I no longer consider INTC a long term hold. Just trading. At the moment I don't have any INTC shares.

Regarding getting over anger. I was fortunate that I was able to recoup my losses by speculating in other stocks. (Mainly ACAS for 3x gain).

The lesson to be learned is that holding stocks such as INTC is useless. The company is run for the benefit of its managers and employess. Not share holders. We get to bet on the movement of the stock. Sometime we win, sometimes we lose. I think I've learned how to recognoze the signs of when conditions favor a rise in the share price. So I am trading short term only these days. And I expect to stick to this mode for the remainder of my investing horizon.
