This is how private placements work. If you want someone to take a large amount of shares all at once and off-market you give themn a discount. This is nothing unusual. What is more important and significant is that there are private investors willing to fund LWLG at this time so that the company can bring its advanced and unequalled EO technology to the commercial market.
Also note that LWLG's stock price did not decline at all after the private placement news was released. The market did not view this action as negative at all.
