exdate was 6/16

http://www.otcbb.com/asp/dividend.asp?sym_id=EBOF&dDate=6/10/2009&sDateType=Record_date

if you own it on 6/15 at the close you will get the dividend, I don't care when you bot it.

if you bot between the record date and the exdate (6/11 - 6/15), you are not only buying the stock you are also buying anything attached to that stock. in this case the divy.

In response to your question: I bought the majority of my shares on or before May 15. I bought more shares on June 12 and June 15. For all of these shares, I received the dividend shares.
I am confused as you are, however since this was not a cash dividend (wherein the Ex-dividend date routinely preceeds the Record Date), I am quessing that in our case, the Record Date is of no effect, any that only the Ex-dividend date controls whether one is entitled to receive the dividend. In other words, that one must buy before the Ex-dividend date to get the dividend shares. I have no informational confirmation of this! Somehow, sometime, we will find out.

This came in response to my TD emailed question:

Thank you for allowing me to assist you today. Upon review of your account, I see that EBOF: EARTH BIOFUELS INC has performed a name change, effective on the market 6/16/2009, to EVFL: EVOLUTION FUELS INC. Even though the market has recognized the name change to be effective, TD AMERITRADE is still awaiting delivery of the EVOLUTION FUELS INC shares in exchange for our current position in EARTH BIOFUELS INC. TD AMERITRADE has disabled the ticker symbol on your online account until we receive such delivery of the said shares. At this time, TD AMERITRADE has not been informed by the issuer of a set date that the shares will be delivered, but the process typically takes 3-5 business days. Once TD AMERITRADE is in possession of shares that are in good form for delivery, the new ticker will be established on your portfolio, and you may sell the shares at that time.

The stock distribution also has yet to be received, but rest assured that TD AMERITRADE will allocate the shares to your account promptly upon receipt.
