In response to your statement of what I should have asked Schwab (copied below). I did one better when they stated that there was no such offer. I told them that I wanted to accept this offer and requested immediate action. The made calls, checked with other sources at Schwab and assured me that there was no such offer on the table. I did contact the referenced department among others at Schwab and fail to see why i have to speak with my broker in specific words that you dictate.

you didn't share what your questions are, but you should have asked:

"is Schwab offering to pay me interest for the privilege of borrowing my non-margined WAVX shares?"

your conclusions do not logically flow from your premise in the absence of a negative response to the above question
