dnd - as we know from presentations and management discussion prior to Samsung, the rate was somewhere around $2....if it's now somewhere around $1 as "an acceptable measure", the Samsung rate was well under $1, yes?

I seem to recall that I would be very happy with a buck a device averaged across all licensees and 3G technologies....and I am.

I agree with your reasoning in general, but at this point from what little we actually know it is hard to to tell what is correct.
