That is technical analysis at its best. These trades are nothing more than patterns which keep repeating themselves.

This guy is a T/A wizard who developed his own technique. This is really worth a read. He takes this pattern stuff a few steps further. Basically, he has been pretty much on the money. He is bdtter on the macro leads, but some will argue that his stuff is also good for micro.

I'm going to be blunt here, and this isn't directed against any one person, certainly not you ETF_TA

but so far the charts have been WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.........

and if they are one day correct in their predictions, I will AT THIS POINT have to attribute it to "broken clock syndrome"......

if you say something enough, you should be correct every now and then, that seems to be the only reason to own FAZ anymore, looking for a few days of vindication to get out......when we can flip the coin a few times in a row in our favor....

again, no offense, but the success of the charts here in predicting anything has been lousy.....you can blame it on what you want, markets being propped up, etc, but that is the result at the end of the day.....

ETF...Have you ever taken this a step further and tried to locate similar patterns in various time frames? For example, 15/30/60 minute charts, daily, weekly, monthly?
