OT: We bring up "other" topics on weekends all the time...like "How's the Family?...What Ya havin' for barbecue?...How 'bout them Patriots?...Nice Painting in Your Sig!...Hope Y'All are OK from the Hurricane pass thru down there!...Nice car in Your siggy,I like Pontiacs too!" ........and so no and so forth....BUT....when the "off" topics get heated and hurtful and holier than thou and degrading and I am better than You because I know and I am right and You are an idiot and just plain stupid(that is a dichotomy for those folks who attempt to flaunt their intelligence)...take IT to an appropriate place, that's all!!!

The moderator of the QBID board got all over the posters for discussing taxes and made them stop. It was kind of silly because there were only a handful of posts during the entire evening. And it wasn't a very emotional/contraversial topic.In that case I thought it was a bit overcontrolling. Here on the CMKX board there are many more posts and some of the topics being talked about lend themselves to hurtful, and in some cases, silly and uneducated comments, i.e. politics and religion. I support the moderators of the CMKX board.
