Everyone's points here are genuine so far. I wouldn't consider any of this bashing, but logical debate.

In my mind, there were 2 options:

1. Decline the Today show and never be offered the opportunity again maybe until next year or may be never

2. Accept the Today show and know that your website will not be up either because:
a. Website is not ready (we do not know this)
b. New collection is not in inventory (I am fairly certain about this but is probably in final stages now) and/or run the website with 2007 and 2008 inventory (is this what you really want to do with your GRAND opening for a "chic" clientele????)


Ideally, we would have all our ducks in a row and be up and running now. But the reality is we are not. So, your choice is #1 or #2?!?!?!

Clearly, I'll take the national press and if someone wants the gear, they will come back soon or call the store. Did we lose some sales for not being online now? Yes we did. But the exposure is something that in no way you can refuse.
