It will never run to $8 .

If a buyout is executed at $8, you will see your $8 (in cash, but likely in stock) when it's over.

If you want the possible rewards, you will have to hold imo.

If you think it's just going to run-up to $8, then you should just leave because I think there is a 0% chance of that happening, but who knows.

The trading of the stock will be halted in the next 120 days or sooner and will resume trading at some amount such as 2,3 8, 12 or $X per share . The amount is to be yet to be determined.
