I can't really put a price estimate out there because at the moment there are too many variables to account for.
The biggest of which is whether a settlement is even an option or possible, whether a court judgment happens, etc etc. Once thing is for certain Wamu common will never see the high dollar amounts that some people here have posted. Obviously the value of the stock before the seizure was around $5 so anything more than that is probably silly to think of achieving. Now those who have posted the higher dollar amounts are most likely trying to factor in monetary damages which they believe Wamu can win. Those damages would number in the billions.
What we have working against us is .. the government. Its really not like our government to admit mistakes, and thus they will use as much of our tax dollars as possible to prevent such actions from being taken.
