Wow. The Diebold case study is hard core positive. You WANT an ATM-maker on your side, making quotes like this:

“What the security industry is coming to
appreciate is how truly advanced TPM chips
are,” McGinley continued. “I can't think of
another factory-installed technology capable of
both machine authentication and protection of
critical data — all for little to no added costs.
We look forward to leveraging the encryption,
authentication and non-repudiation capabilities of
the TPM for other security enhancements.”
On the role of Wave Systems, McGinlely said,
“Wave's software provided us with the necessary
tools to utilize the functions of this hardware
security module. There are few, if any, companies
out there with the range of tools and support
Wave off ers to maximize the functions of this chip.
By selecting Wave — whose solution is based on
standards adopted by the entire industry — we
ensured critical key management functions and had
the assurance that Diebold's applications would
run flawlessly with all the TPMs on the market. We
didn't lock ourselves into working with one chip
vendor; we insulated ourselves from change.”

Wave-Simplifying Encryption and Authentication

Notice the new tag line under the Wave logo on these new case studies? I hadn't before today. Maybe it's not new, but I do like it because it's very direct and simple to understand, and addresses a relevant need for both businesses and consumers. It's also sort of like the old 3M tag line, "We make things better". Secret-saucy-like. I dig it.

I'd also like to observe the bright side of the extremely low volume trading being associated with price stability. Normally, or in the past, if Wave stock isn't racing ahead on news or speculation, it's getting pounded down by the shorts and traders. Not happening, right now anyway. The shorts are not very bold. Rather abashed in fact. Not certain. I like that. Wave stock is trading like a real company with real products and real prospects for success, though those prospects are not fulfilled so as to make the stock trade up. People now know that it is binary: Wave will sell or not. Wave is for real; it's in the box. It just has to make it happen. Talk of lighting candles is not purely fanciful now.
