Why are you talking about IPF again?

Funny you mentioned IPF. Last year the weather channel
bought Opteron servers for DBMS appplications. Guess
what 2P and 4P Linux servers they are now buying from
HP to run DBMS, web, file, and print serving applications
etc.

And to think of all the people on this forum who told
me that IPF couldn't possibly compete against Opteron
in the 2P/4P entry level server segment because of its
pricing. Its not like HP couldn't have sold them some
decent 2P and 4P Opteron servers *if* they had wanted
them, ROFL.
