Sounds to me that you agree but don't agree. I'm saying that we are NOT dealing with stock dividends here but, rather, another company's stock. It might just as well be cash.
Even in the most pure shorting situation, I can't see a shorter having the ability to borrow the stock of the "other company" to fullfil his obligation. RFL
