#4543 RE: lostcowboy #4541

Yes, also the FAQ on http://www.thermalright.com has some
general info we all can easy read. I'am a little confused
about this case that has sound insulation built in, as it
also includes:
*Fan: 3 x low noise dual ball bearing fans
http://www.lian-li.com/product.php?action=viewPD&prdid=1106
Guess I don't know what the fans are for, probably not for the cpu
as that is left to the cpu installation.

Eventually I'am gonna build a gaming pc once I come up to speed
on what action games are available. Guess one area I am confused
is why folks overclock their cpu. Its as if they cannot buy a cpu
having the clock speed they want, or that extra 10% requires something
like a double in cpu price for one having that speed by default.

Anyway, I'll go the route in paying more for a case like above
that has sound damping engineered in, and obtaining a custom made
"cpu + cooling system" as a single unit built by the guys of a
small company that geared for gamers and they have the know-how
to know whats available and works best.

The pre-installed fans for the above case I'am sure will extract
the air of the case inners, but I'll go in the water pump direction
to keep the cpu and other components cool.

But thats probably next year, and by then advances can spring up
and amaze us all on what become common to buy.

The best first step one can make when one will do a "Bruce"
and collect the individual parts and assembly them theirselves
might be the case being the best, and maybe the biggest,
then the best cooling solutions so that a very quiet pc results.
