The SEC somehow thinks the American public cannot see the truth about is just plain stupid and will buy any story to COVER UP their own inefficiency as a regulatory body.

The "American public" doesn't even know about CMKX, and if they did, they wouldn't care. We DO have rather more serious problems.

CMKX was a massive pump and dump, and that's all it was.
