Today's NR just reinforces the fact that Magnum/SRI compound is cost effective - "This has never been effectively done before in a cost effective and viable manner. There have been material approximations, mostly in the form of fillers or processing aids masquerading as raw materials, but none of which are remotely comparable." The NR also states that "). This material, which is now a hybrid raw material, can be added directly into the process line with no material modification, additional process handling, or any additional cost factors. Most importantly the material will have no appreciable loss in properties." and most importantly "The manufacturer would be able to substitute virgin compound with our recycled compound ranging in proportions of 5% to up to 30%, subject to the application and the properties required, without ANY appreciable loss in properties. This allows the manufacturer to be environmentally responsible while enhancing their viability.
