I live in Atlanta and this certainly not a "crappy part of town". It's NE ATL approaching Gwinnett county. FWIW

I don't trust google maps, they still show my pool that we got rid of 5 years ago.

I wasn't able to find much either - not on news feeds or anything. The best I could find is this link talking about the ground breaking and the expected completion in summer 2009.

... and the Star Towers website, of course.

One of the repliers said they live in ATL. Would you mind driving past there to make sure something's being built?

I noticed that as well a while ago regarding Star Towers, which is partly why I started digging into the Lees, their company Continental Acuisitions as well as Craig Douglass and his LPMC.

It's fun trying to put all the puzzle pieces together.

I installed the latest version of Google Earth and the image from that area is from June 6, 2007 ... it is also the exact same satellite image on GoogleMaps. This was long before ground breaking or construction, so it shows nothing.

I'm just surprised there isn't something about it in the press. I may take Whistles' advice and call the neighbors of that address.

I checked out the address and found this:
KOREAN JOURNAL 5455 NE BUFORD HWY # 207A. DORAVILLE. GA
Is that part of Atlanta Doraville?

I was just doing some DD on Star Towers...I really don't come up with much other than EESO press releases...and The Star Towers website (which has some strange symbols on parts of it)

There's this...

http://www.star-towers.com/

You can read it in English or Korean, but unfortunately there's nothing to read. Is it finished?
