hey bruce.... i live in a remote area of n.california....heck the phone lines are probably 75 yrs old....they ran the fibre optics line thru or town but won't let us hook up to it...guess it's cost prohibitive for them to service the area because of the population and the way we're so spread out...heck we don't even have caller ID...and we've only had call waiting for about 2 yrs...lol...i'll have to use satellite if i want to get any faster at this time...although we do have hi speed cable service in the area..... i just have to talk the compnay into running it about another 2000ft and set some new poles to get it to me...it's all about trade offs i guess...i don't even own a house key...never have to lock anything...so i'll accept the slowness of things for a bit....thnx for your concern...as to your original question....about every six months, the phone company switches between either verizon, or sbc...doesn't matter thou...no hi speed service available..thnx again...bobby v

I seem to be having a problem that is happening mainly on iHub & only @ work on a network PC. I type something & there is like a 3 or 4 second delay before it shows up on my screen in the post box. The site in general is very slow for me. I ran SPYBOT. Deleted my cookies, temp internet files, history, rebooted several times etc. but there is this delay that even as I am typing this is unfreakinbelievable. Almost as if something is reading this before it allows it in the box. Nothing appears to be running in the background. Oh yeah, I also use the GOOGLE ADBLOCKER. SUGGestions? Thanks.
