HELSINKI (Reuters) - Sony Ericsson sparked fresh fear of crumbling consumer demand on Friday when the world's No 4 handset maker said it would sell barely half of the phones it sold last quarter.

Will we have to negociate then with both? Or all three? sony, ericsson, AND the old JV?

Here's a rumor, but something like this will surely be working soon.

Rumor: Details Revealed of "PSP 3G"
March 17, 2009 | 12:07 PM PST

Don't get your hopes up, folks, but there is something of a rumor stemming from NeoGAF about the next iteration of the PlayStation Portable, dubbed herein as "PSP 3G:"

David Perry // Producer, SCEA: Also well known as the PSP-4000 or the PSP2, the new PSP model will be called PSP 3G. Unlike previous PSP models it will have a touch screen as well as an UMTS support, Bluetooth and a microphone. That means you will be able to use it easily as a normal mobile phone. With its ultra compact size and design it will be not much bigger than an iPhone but it will offer you the highest gaming comfort. There wont be any UMD-drive any more but instead a keyboard with a slide mechanism though. But of course, you will be able to download all the games from the PSN Store with the PSP 3G soon. Cooperating with Sony Ericsson, we will be able to deliver the PSP 3G in the USA and Japan by the end of April 2009. First pictures will follow tomorrow.

The source of this rumor, however, is this site, which as of this writing seems pretty dead to the world. It was also posted on PlayStationPortable.de, where now all that remains is "Diese News wurde nicht gefunden," or "This news was not found," likely indicating it was removed.

So, yeah. I think someone was duped somewhere. If you see this pop up, don't buy into it unless we see something more official.

OT somewhat Revlis, I've been following Flextronics for a few years without doing much until a couple of weeks ago at $2.07. Sold out of all end of last week at $2.59 because as it happened the market seemed toppy. FLEX has gotten killed from $23-$1.23 before recovering some after being oversold. I'm going to wait to get back in FLEX below $2.00 for another trade or two before going long-term long with FLEX on a recovery. Sorry for OT, but I've been following IDCC since the IDC and early Myanmar days. Just missed the timing of a stack of IDC $5 calls a couple of months before the burst to $82. So my market timing doesn't command much respect. lol Just wondering by reading the end of your posting if FLEX might provide an opportunity for some people here. To the board, please don't accuse me of pumping. I've followed all the long-time posters here for many years and feel a connection with them. robj (on Raging Bull) & dogwoodadman/advance1 through the years on Yahoo & Club board.
