Agree with you 200 percent. But I still do not understand how the Mayans could have been geniuses at astronomy. Of course, there was no TV in those days, so they had to do something besides human sacrifices for kicks. And since man's brain really hasn't evolved any since the last Ice Age, imo, Chichen Itza and the boys were every bit as advanced intellectually as modern geniuses, possible more so, because their brains weren't affected by toxins in utero and beyond.
