GreenMan...I agree the uptick rule should be reinstated... But CTGI failed on it's own...the economy had little to do with it. They had years of going from one project to another and never quite making it...
Greed killed our economy...including overall spending by a population of more than they made starting in 1999. That finally caught up with us and the financial companies that participated.... Now the markets are being driven by traders and anyone that plays it long term is risking a lot, IMO... Manipulation and musical chairs is now the "game".
