right, and communities don't want to subsidize the poorer towns indefinitely. While you're happy to keep taking handouts, I'm sure the State hears from all the communities who have been subsidizing Berlin's schools and other public services for the last several years that it needs to end at some point.

rich sears - Nice to see that Commissioner Bald was pressing the Mayor and City Council of Berlin to change their attitude from negativism and bitter attacks (for example on Laidlaw and on the State) to one of accomodation and working together and moving forward...

"Commissioner Bald stated that there is not a more important time to be positive. Citizens are looking to the Council to make a difference, be positive and move forward."

Question: How is CP planning to sell the electricity from their proposed (but as yet unfinanced) project in Berlin if PSNH will not even talk to them? Just wondering...

Berliners need to prepare to Deepthroat PSNH. This is a massive deal for PSNH, that PSNH has been working on for a decade!!!! LLEG is a one man show that got lucky to run into PSNH when PSNH needed a lacky to "build" a plant that they could not legally build. LLEG, who now leases an idea, is actively soliciting buyers for the Berlin idea/lease. What will that mean for investors? Some dilution and probably nothing else, to take one for the team. If Berliners can keep PSNH from cramming this down their throats thats laughable. Sorry.
