If you don't go whole heartily after alternative energy sources uses, you'll never get off the foreign oil binge. The longer you prolong the move, the more likely you won't make the move.
Do you really think the oil / NG industry wants to pursue those alternatives?
The present Administration primarily represents the interests of the "old North" which is, ironically, heavily UNIONIZED. They know there is already a population shift from the North to the South and Southwest; and they know the US O/G Industry is headquartered in Houston. And they know that any surge in O/G development in the USA will shift the ECONOMIC POWER of the USA to the South and Southwest; their "GREEN IMAGE" is just a MASK they are wearing for cover. They are also planning to UNIONIZE the South and Southwest in order to turn the Red States to Blue. It's all ... POLITICS ... !!!!!!!
