Ok, tired of hearing this argument so I'll butt in real quick to set the record straight. Just for your knowledge I am one of the guys in the pics above. I am guessing from the name and your CIB picture below your post you either are or were a soldier in the US Army. Either case thank you for your service to our country.

Now as far as exploitation, Sir you're way off base here. The Shadow box that we presented Jared during the open house was actually given to him the night before when we all had a chance to get together and actually meet each other. I assure you that Jared's reaction was that night was tenfold the one you saw during the open house. I also assure you that the idea of presenting it to him again during the open house was ours and not his. He would have been just as happy to take it home and hang it on his wall that same night. The reason why we decided to do so was because the reaction we saw in him than night was that of a truly genuine American, who understands the sacrifices made by a select few to benefit the rest of our country(unlike most Americans now days).
For those who don't know, Jared and his company sponsored and personally sent out 50+ boxes of goodies to our troops while we were deployed to Afghanistan. As far as I know our replacements over there now are still receiving them to date. The flag box and unit photo are there as an appreciation of our unit to him and his company for the support while we were deployed, and not a stock promotion. There are plenty of companies out there that sponsor units/soldiers overseas and are not shy of stating it,(rightfully so) so why should EESO be any different? As far as call signs go, I understand your concern and its a valid one however, those call signs given are personal ones and are not used in a tactical environment. We have classified ones for that.

Once again ABN, not a bash brother just wanted to set the record straight. I believe in this company and its not because my investment in them but because the people behind it are true Americans who care, I know and I've seen it firsthand.

Maybe we should let those soldiers weigh in on it. See if they feel honored or exploited.

I appriciate your concern but as usual there are too many people on this board who are too busy watching out for other people.

You were not involved in the presentation on either side. You do not know the circumstances or the people involved. I am also one of the individuals in the picture. If our participation was being used in an inappropriate fashion we would have taken action to rectify the situation.

To put your mind at ease the call signs noted are not operational call signs. Nothing has been violated.

Obviously they don't think they're being exploited. So if those soldiers were/are okay with it I wouldn't think anyone else should have a problem.
