No they are not as good as the old systems. The operating pressures of R-134A are different than R-12 were..consequently the boiling temperatures are different, the boiling temp of R-12 is -28.6 degrees if my memory serves me correctly and it is higher for R-134A..so the heat transfer in the new systems is not as efficient as with R-12...BTW they still manufacture R-12 in Mexico..:^))
you are so right.. with propellants in asthma inhalers.. they do not work as well and have to use more puffs than two for it to work and so use it up faster..money trail.. go Hoagie.. and the steroid inhalers without the proper propellant.. the stuff sticks in your throat tissue and gets ear aches, and throat infections.. again, if bad use more antibiotics.. MONEY and DRUGS!!!
