stormy: I just was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma usually occurring during cold weather. They gave me a hand held chamber which the small inhaler attaches to, and said to shake very well and breath totally out then very slowly in.
I think the chamber which costs about $20 is related to what you are talking about relative to efficiency of propellant.
With the chamber I use 2 puffs, not sure without it though.
