#3983 RE: Bird of Prey #3981

The question was not whether or not you had ever shorted a stock on someone's recommendation.

The question was had you ever profited from the manipulation of a stock being manipulated by a shorting consortium.

And once again your answer, though long winded, evades that question.

Perhaps if you'd *ask* "the question" rather than trying to make me guess it in one of your equally long-winded diatribes.

To the new "The Question", I also answer in the negative. I have never profited from the manipulation of a stock being manipulated by a shorting consortium.

Clear enough? Or will "The Question" change now?

Further, in my own experience, regardless of the topic "bashers" can be just as active in flaunting the rules as "touts".

That could very well be the case on Yahoo and Raging Bull. I've seen it myself on Yahoo numerous times.

That was certainly not the case at SI. Would your "own experience" perchance include background being the administrator at a site for which people had to pay to be able to post?

Lastly, you have not been nor would you be asked to "swear" off selling a stock short. To make such a request would be the definition of stupidity. However, what is such a big deal about swearing not to do an illegal thing?

That's from the post to which I'm replying.

any instance that supports the claim that you have profited from trading with a shorting consortium...

Of course, if there is no such activity in your trading log why not just come right out and say so directly, without equivocation? Say it with the conviction of an honorable man swearing an honorable oath. Also if you haven't done it before, it should be no problem to hold forth that you will never, ever do so.

That's from a post of yours that's only hours older and to which I was replying.

See the contradiction and why it's frustrating to answer the question you asked, only to have you essentially say "No, I didn't ask that question."?
