No silly, the idea it would be planting agricultural crops like lumber trees or coffee beans on properties that were simultaneuously being mined for gold. Since the logistics of mining, logging and farming all require the same roads, water, and electricity why couldn't a company like SFMI merge with both a company like LPX Louisiana Pacific Corps, a lumber company, and a or another food or grain producing agricultural company? Just an idea, but in today's economy it sure would be best to get the both sides of the coin's value, not just the front or back. If SFMI could team up with a lumber company and farming company that could integrate the mining plans with tree planting and crop harvesting projects on the same property they would decrease the carbon impact of the mining and maximize the returns from invested money.
