I don't know anything about goldenjackass.com, though I suspect most Americans aren't going to become outraged by things mentioned on a site by that name.
Like I said, I know nothing of this guy or his site and the more the merrier as far as getting information out there, but unless you see papers like the New York Times, Seattle Times, etc.. picking up these kinds of stories, they will go unnoticed by the majority of America.
I'm not saying there aren't bloggers doing great investigative work. Newspaper/Magazine reports though... are a completely different animal and sadly, the place most Americans turn for "news".
