What Monty just posted sounds very exciting!
I want to publicly state that I have met Monty face to face and I trust him. He stopped by my house last summer on his way out of town after a wedding in Minneapolis and stood in my driveway talking to me for over an hour. He had his family in the car, but refused to come in and sit down, I think he was trying to do this visit quickly and was considerate of his family and of my privacy. My wife and one of my daughters actually came out and visited with his wife and 2 sons while they were still sitting in the car. We just couldn't get them to come in for a meal or stay a while. They were trying to get out of town and had a long drive ahead of them, yet Monty took an hour to try to encourage me, that is just the kind of a guy he is.
I realize that we have all been screwed by the BOD for a couple years now and it is difficult to trust anyone anymore.
So I just wanted to state my opinion of Monty publicly.
I have had conversations with many of the core people on this board and I can vouch for their integrity. I will not name names, or I would certainly forget someone, but they have become some of my closest friends.
I am glad that more of you have decided to help fund the attorney, and hope that all of us eventually can help out.
I am encouraged more and more as Monty relays info to this board. I believe that we still have a chance to succeed here, and the odds seem to be changing in our favor day to day.
I will continue to pray for these men in Nigeria and for the future of XKEM, please join me if you are willing.
