viva: i know what we should own . but i cant say what it is . not anything you mentioned , something else. all i can say is it leaked out what would be good to own in forbes magizine about 25 years ago. never heard it mentioned again. id say the gov. told them keep it top seceret. newt

LOL, Well am thinking about the Swiss Francs. They hold most of the gold bullions for the world bank and most nations.

I don't belief in those funds that claim they are backed by gold. If you don't have the gold in your own hands, then its based on trust. I don't have anymore trust in our financial markets or wall street and fund managers.

GLTY. If Wamu does well am moving my cash to some trusts and keep working. If they pay full values of KQs and UQs = $8. I'll just do a teaching certificate and teach high school or community college maths and get my summer off.

I am staking a lot here. If it works out, then my future wife can work part-time and we can take the summers off.

I`m a german reader but I´m following this board since 3 months, almost every single posting, because I`m invested in wamu and all pref. stocks. (H-P and K). My advice : Buy physical gold and silver: US-Eagle or Maple leaf. Papermony in extremis will not be accepted by anyone, gold by everyone (Alan Greenspan). So, buy physically, no paper gold or silver, they will cheat you on this. If you own land, its okay. Keep it. If you look for a foreign currency: don`t take Swiss-Franc ! There is almost no gold left in Switzerland, all sold on the market in recent years, to oppress the price of gold and support the Dollar. Don`t take the Euro, that P.of Sh. will disappear pretty soon . Take the canadian Dollar: at least it is backed with a lot of gold and silver in the ground , plus energy.Papermony will be worthless, sooner or later.That´s why they can "produce" billions or even trillions of Dollars (or Euros) almost every day. Don`t forget that.
