Agree, with your reply "not entirely true" because people swing trade this and make money. Also not entirely true, because you can have a stock with the greatest potential in the universe, and a year (the other posters timeframe) from now it may not be much higher in PPS than it is now, especially with the terrible market realities that we probably face during the next year. Stocks are essentially lotto tickets that people buy and then throw away, moving on to the next presumed hot ticket. Here, if this stock is going to move higher, it will be in response to Obama's signature. The Time Magazine cover/stories/etc. may also already be factored into the price (I hope not) in advance of hitting newstands, since the issue seems to be already available on the web. One of the articles was dated the 29th, so that may have fueled yesterdays rise in PPS. I hope that President Obama signs next week.
