I first met your Dad several years ago at a Carnegie Mellon University privacy and security event that was led by Robert Thibadeau (now of Seagate) and Michael Willett (then of Wave and now of Seagate, as well.)

My first impressions of him have only been reinforced over the years. He's a man of principle, a quiet, self-effacing guy... who is smart, smart, smart. The relationship chain linking Allen, Thibadeau and Willett is very much in evidence with today's news.

Your Dad deserves ANY day that is one that acknowledges his character, values and work.
