Expensive is always relative to the person buying. Keep in mind, however, the average cost of caskets purchased in the U.S. is just over $2,000. We are talking officially licensed MLB products here. For $2,000 more you get that. As others have mentioned on this board as well, funeral costs are typically picked up by insurance anyway. Not too big of a deal. As for urns, they range in price from $100-thousands. It all depends on what you want. I believe we are incredibly well priced, especially given our niche market and the demand we will have for these products. Not only that, but as a few investors here who attended the NFDA this year have noted, the quality and craftsmanship of these products is second to none. All things to consider when buying something like this. Just my $.02

Put yourself in the funeral home '1994hoosier' when the moment of truth comes to you and your family. You walk down the stairs to the "display area" to view the available products. You've got Eternal Image products and the others.

Finding it hard to believe and the issue of spending that much money will not be a factor. It's EI's casket or urn that will be the only choice.

Then you will know:)

Yours Always in Eternal Faith,
Heppie:)

Actually they are priced right in between avaiable caskets and urns...caskets can go for as much as $10k or as little as about $1000 for a no frills pine box...Same with the urns...and thats MSRP....

A Rockland, Mass., funeral home has sold the first Boston Red Sox casket, which a family purchased for $3,000 to bury their baseball-loving dad.
