Dear Elmer. Re: In my opinion AMD entered it's agreement with Abu Dhabi with the intent to defraud. That's what separates it from Dow Chemical.

I agree with you that Dow Chemical behavior may not meet the legal definition of “intent to defraud”. All the news article said was that “the deal had angered some Kuwaiti parliamentarians who said the project was not economically viable in light of the global financial crisis and slumping petrochemical sales.”

The only significant information in this news article, as far as Intel’s investors are concerned, is that the Abu Dhabi neighbors may notice the similarity between their agreement with AMD to Kuwait’s agreement with Dow Chemicals.
