THREE SWINGS FOR January 2009, SLUGGER STYLE
Pick 3 stocks that you think in combo, but within a margin of safety, to be multi-baggers in January 2009. Winner gets a 3 month premium subscription courtesy of iHub.
Bonus -- include commentary on why you made all of your picks for an automatic extra WALK (1 free point) on your final total score.
Rules & Scoring are simple:
1. THREE picks required to play, and all picks must be at least .10/share, have $25k avg volume a day, and be fully SEC reporting (no pinks) or an ETF. First come, first served on a unique 3 pick combo only but single picks can be duplicated.
2. Closing price on 12/31/08 will mark the entry for each pick and closing price on 1/30/09 will be used to calculate the score.
3. All picks must be posted on the SWINGTRADE (SWING) board by close 12/31/08.
4. Scoring is as follows for each of the 3 picks:
4 baggers+ (homerun) = 4 points.
3 baggers (triple) = 3 points.
2 baggers (double) = 2 points.
To reward safety and penalize risky....
(stock is just positive) = 1 point.
(stock is just negative) = -1 point.
(stock closes break-even) = 0 points.
You will get a "slugger points" based on all 3 picks combined. Highest total wins. Any ties on 1/30/09 will go into "extra innings" one week at a time.
