I agree he probably knows the O/S but announcing after an audit prevents doubt of the results. Let's face it, had he simply PR'd the O/S and said it was X, you would have taken him to task for not revealing audited figures. Every mention of the O/S would have a star beside it as being uncomnfirmed.
