"Bouyancy is provided by helium in the first segment only." Now that's interesting....what happens when the engines are shut down or throttled way back to idle? Lifting gas in the first segment ONLY? The trailing segments would drop straight down and the entire vehicle would be pointing straight up. That doesn't make sense.

I'm wondering if the vehicle could turn so tight that the trailing segment could be threatened by the props on the front segment? If the vehicle's turning radius is limited to 60 degrees per segment, 3 segments would equal 180 degrees or a triangular shape and the trailing section could possibly drift into and collide with the props given the right conditions.
