I've been away for a long time. What are PA's proposals? Maybe I should get back in.

Brigunn,
I hope you are right, but I feel that your concern for the global economy is a little mis-guided. The founding fathers never intended for America to be a democracy. A democracy is little more than Anarchy. Mob rule and pack mentality is the natural enemy of a constitutional Republic. We elect officials to make judgments on the behalf of the public. As shareholders, our role is very similar. We invest in companies that we believe will yield profits, and I do believe that there are only about five ways to generate wealth.
There are many ways to attain wealth outside of those five things. Piracy comes to mind.
For those who create wealth, there are also those who would confiscate it. In the end, we invest in those who we believe will not only produce wealth but also protect it.
We may not always agree with their decisions, but it is their decision to make.
We as shareholders have to live with those decisions good or bad.
My biggest question at this point does not pertain to lawsuits, gravel pits, oil rigs, condos or all the rest of it.
My biggest question is the integrity of those in charge.
I think we have all seen lately that audited financials don’t mean anything if there is intent to defraud shareholders.
If it was their intent to defraud shareholders, what have they gained?
Not much from what I have seen. They had a little pinksheet and probably some personal wealth. At the end of the day, they have a little pinksheet and some personal wealth, unless there is more than what we know.
Seems like an effort in futility to me.
I have never believed that the silence from the company was related to the lawsuits. I don’t see the need.
So back to my question…Are they farmers, who like to see things grow straight and true? Or are they pirates?
I guess we will find out soon enough,
and…
