i live in raleigh, nc. my wife and i go to either mexico (both coasts) or the caribbean 3 to 4 times a year and the beach as often as time permits. we just became empty nesters so the "time permits" should increase even more. i'm a beach bum to the nth degree. did alot of surfing of both coasts in my younger days, still go when i can. imo, when you fall in love with the coast, you never want to go back to the city......
