Keep the faith, man. The only time anyone really understands their own mortality is when they survive the unexpected.
Its good to see that you re-engaged in life and family. Finding a way to be happy is good therapy... and now you know that happiness isn't possible without family and friends. A lot of people never fully realize that.
You and I (and many others) share a kinship now. I got worried when your daughter didn't keep us informed on your board... but I'm pretty certain a bb isn't a top priority at those times.
