cant believe when people are saying shorts are needed so you can even the playing field with the longs, when the truth is there is no limit on how much shorting can occur where there is a limit when you go long.
with enough selling power (especially the case with naked shorts) you could crush ANY stock if you felt like it.

let me add: there should be electronic tracking on every trade, linked to a master database, so if anyone is naked short, it can easily be flagged. cant believe thats not the case now
